Single’s Inferno Season 2 Cast: Where Are They Now? (2026 Update)

Last updated: 18 August 2026

The Single’s Inferno Season 2 cast produced three couples, and none of them lasted. It also produced Dex — who left the island alone, then became one of the biggest variety personalities in Korea and came back to the show as a panelist.

Here is where all twelve Season 2 cast members stand in 2026.

Dex is the real Season 2 story

Kim Jin-young — who goes by Dex, born 9 June 1995 and 31 in 2026 — went onto the island as a former Republic of Korea Navy UDT/SEAL running a YouTube channel, and left it alone. He is now comfortably the most successful person the franchise has produced.

Viewers nicknamed him the “King of Flirting” during the season, and the profile converted immediately. Since Season 2 he has appeared on Bloody Game, The Zone: Survival Mission 3, Zombieverse, and The Backpacker Chef. He took the Male Rookie Award at the 2023 MBC Entertainment Awards for the travel show Adventure by Accident, hosted the YouTube interview series Jae Friends, and picked up the nickname “Nation’s Little Brother” after his run on tvN’s Fresh Off the Sea in 2024. He has also moved into acting, with credits including Tarot and The Defects.

The neatest detail: from Season 3 onward, Dex joined Single’s Inferno as a panelist — going from contestant to the commentary booth in a single season. Nobody else in the franchise has made that jump.

What happened to the couples?

Three pairs left Inferno together in the Season 2 finale:

  • Lee So-e and Kim Se-jun — the fan favourite of the season. They dated after filming but had separated by early 2024.
  • Choi Seo-eun and Jo Yoong-jae — dated for a stretch after the show; no longer together.
  • Shin Seul-ki and Choi Jong-woo — the ambiguous one. They chose each other on the island and have posted about each other since, but never publicly confirmed a relationship either way.

Six contestants left alone: Lee Nadine, Park Se-jeong, Kim Han-bin, Shin Dong-woo, Lim Min-su, and Kim Jin-young.

As of 2026, no Season 2 couple is still together — the same outcome as Season 1.

Everyone else, one by one

Shin Seul-ki

Born 3 March 1998, so 28 in 2026. A piano major at Seoul National University and Miss Chunhyang 2020 before the show, and the most pursued contestant of the season. She became one of the most-followed cast members from any Single’s Inferno season, and made her acting debut in the TVING drama Pyramid Game in 2024. Her relationship status has been the subject of persistent fan speculation — including rumours linking her to Dex — none of it confirmed.

Choi Seo-eun

Born 16 April 1995, so 31 in 2026. Crowned Miss Korea Jin in 2021 and a Pratt Institute painting graduate, she was the only working artist in the cast. She has continued painting alongside modelling and brand work since the show.

Kim Se-jun

Born 31 July 1996, so 30 in 2026, and a late arrival who joined in episode 6. A tailor — and here’s a detail most recaps miss: he worked at Ascottage, the suit shop co-founded by Season 1’s Oh Jin-taek. The two seasons are more connected than they look. He and Lee So-e were the season’s most popular pairing before splitting.

Lee So-e

Born in Seoul on 10 October 2000, so 25 in 2026. An acting student at Hanyang University during filming, and she has gone on to build the most substantial acting résumé of anyone in the cast — credits include Netflix’s The Glory, SBS’s The First Responders, and Love Untangled. She has around 479,000 Instagram followers at @e._.soi. She has pursued acting and modelling since, with a steady social following built off the season.

Lee Nadine

Born in New York on 1 May 2000, so 26 in 2026 — the youngest of the Season 2 cast and the only one born outside Korea. A neuroscience major at Harvard and a former model with YG KPlus, which made her one of the more unusual casting choices the show has made.

She left the island alone, but has since built the largest following of anyone in the cast — over 1.3 million on Instagram at @deeenerss — and works with major beauty brands including Lancôme. She is one of the few Single’s Inferno alumni whose profile has kept growing years after the season aired.

Shin Dong-woo

A plastic surgeon who trained at Yonsei University’s College of Medicine and completed his residency at Severance Hospital, and second runner-up at Mister Global 2021 — the most credentialled contestant on the island. Born in 1991, making him 34 or 35 in 2026 depending on his birthday, and among the oldest of the cast. He left alone and has stayed focused on medicine rather than television.

Choi Jong-woo

Born in 1997 or 1998, so 28 or 29 in 2026. A former footballer working as a barista at his family’s café in Gangwon-do — known locally for its sweetcorn coffee — and Shin Seul-ki’s final pick. He has done modelling work since alongside the café.

Jo Yoong-jae

Born in 1991, so 34 or 35 in 2026, and one of the two oldest contestants of the season. An investment broker at Shinhan Investment in Yeouido and a Hanyang University business graduate, his job involves structuring private equity funds for institutional clients — credentials that caused a minor stir among Korean viewers when they surfaced during the season. He stayed in finance rather than converting the exposure into a media career, though he does run a YouTube channel about the outdoors.

Kim Han-bin

Born in 1999, so 26 or 27 in 2026, and the youngest man in the cast. An award-winning chef — he took the grand prize at the 2018 Korea International Cooking Competition — who had also appeared in the 2016 K-drama Hwarang before Single’s Inferno. He has continued cooking with occasional acting work.

Park Se-jeong and Lim Min-su

Park Se-jeong was born 12 November 1997, making her 28 in 2026; Lim Min-su was born in 1997, so 28 or 29. Both were established models before the show — Park Se-jeong signed with KPlus and with campaign work for brands including Sony and MINI, Lim Min-su running her online clothing label Blue Min alongside freelance and bridal modelling while studying Oriental painting at Duksung Women’s University. Lim Min-su had also competed in Miss Korea before the season, the same pageant Choi Seo-eun won in 2021. Both left alone and both have carried on with the careers they already had.

A note on ages. Most articles about this cast quote the ages shown on screen, which are Korean ages — a system where you are one at birth and gain a year every New Year, making people one or two years “older” than their international age. Korea officially moved to international age in June 2023, so those on-screen numbers are now wrong in two directions at once. The ages above are international ages calculated from birth dates. Seven cast members have a documented full date, so those ages are exact. For the other five only the birth year is on record, so their age spans two possible values depending on whether their birthday has passed — those are shown as a range rather than rounded to a single number, which is what most sites do.

Season 2 aired from 13 December 2022 to 10 January 2023, hosted by Hong Jin-kyung, Lee Da-hee, Kyuhyun and Hanhae.

Common questions

Are any Single’s Inferno Season 2 couples still together?

No. All three finale couples have since separated, and the Seul-ki/Jong-woo pairing was never publicly confirmed as a relationship at all.

Who is Dex from Single’s Inferno?

Kim Jin-young, a former ROK Navy UDT/SEAL turned YouTuber who appeared on Season 2. He has since become a major variety television personality and returned to Single’s Inferno as a panelist from Season 3.

Did Dex and Shin Seul-ki date?

It has been rumoured repeatedly, but neither has confirmed it. Treat it as fan speculation rather than fact.

How old is the Season 2 cast now?

Seven have a documented full birth date, so their ages are exact: Lee So-e is 25 (born 10 October 2000), Lee Nadine is 26 (1 May 2000), Shin Seul-ki is 28 (3 March 1998), Park Se-jeong is 28 (12 November 1997), Kim Se-jun is 30 (31 July 1996), and both Choi Seo-eun (16 April 1995) and Dex (9 June 1995) are 31.

For the rest only the birth year is on record: Kim Han-bin (1999) is 26 or 27, Choi Jong-woo (1997–98) is 28 or 29, Lim Min-su (1997) is 28 or 29, and Jo Yoong-jae and Shin Dong-woo (both 1991) are 34 or 35. Anyone quoting a single exact age for those five is guessing.

Where can I watch Single’s Inferno Season 2?

All episodes stream on Netflix, alongside the other seasons.
